The Complex Burke Lodge & Metropolitan House are situated on the south side of London End, Beaconsfield it is a unique and distinctive building in the town and is fully floodlit at night. The building dates back to the 16th Century and was originally a Coaching house for people travelling between London, Oxford, Windsor and Aylesbury. It boasts large Original Coach doors which would have led to a courtyard and stables (Now offices and a car park). The unique eight sided window frames on the frontage were added in the 18th Century
